Enclosure in Ballinlabaun is a sunken, roughly circular hollow on the south slope of a low rise in County Mayo, Ireland. It measures about eighteen metres north-south and sixteen metres east-west, with a stony, sod-covered rim reaching four metres wide on the east and southeast. The north half drops two metres inward before leveling out, while the south edge blends almost flush into the pasture. Hawthorn still rings the perimeter, and a separate rath sits seven metres to the west. The shape may be an old enclosure partly quarried away or merely a scar left by recent stone-taking from the natural rise.

In pasture, located on the S slope of a low rise in undulating terrain. This possible enclosure is not shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map; it is shown as a hachured circle (diam. 15-20m) on the 1922 edition. It consists of a roughly circular, sunken area (c. 18m N–S; c. 16m E–W), scarped into the slope of the rise, and defined on its perimeter at E–SE by an irregular sod-covered, stony rim (Wth up to 4m). The N half, which is cut into rising ground, has a pronounced internal slope (int. H 2m) which levels out in the S half of the interior. The perimeter is poorly defined at S and is more or less flush with exterior ground level. remains of an enclosure, that has been partly quarried out, or it may simply be entirely the result of relatively recent quarrying of the natural rise.
