What is recorded here

In improved wet pasture, cut by land drains and watercourses and liable to floods, 20m W of a townland boundary with Ballinlough and 105m SE of the Ballynamona River. A ring-barrow (LI032-307----) lies 140m to NE. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 237: AP 5/2018) as a faint roughly rectangular-shaped cropmark. Levelled monument is visible as a very faint subrectangular-shaped cropmark (13m NW-SE; 12m NE-SW) on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage 20/09/2020.
