What is recorded here
Balcunnin holds a ghost circle, visible only when crop growth reveals hidden depth. The land remains low and arable, looking south toward Baldongan church, while the enclosure itself retreats from human sight. What is absent becomes a question rather than a display, inviting imagination to complete what measurement cannot capture.
A possible circular enclosure visible as a crop mark on an aerial photograph. A ring-ditch occurs to the immediate south (DU005-084---) while other features within the field that could indicate a field system (DU005-085----) (SMR file; pers. comm. T. Condit). Located in relatively low arable land with views south up to Baldongan church (DU005-037001-). No visible remains.
