Situated on a slight S-facing slope. The cropmark of an oval enclosure (dims c. 40m NE-SW; c. 25-30m NW-SE) defined by a conitnuous fosse or ditch feature is visible on aerial photographs (MM (48) 14, 15; (50) 16). Rath (WX036-068----) is c. 280m to the N. it may have been a decorative tree-ring.
