Enclosure in Ashfield (tiaquin By.) is a circular rath about 35 metres wide on a north-facing hillslope in County Galway. Its bank and shallow outer ditch remain clear, though modern gaps break the ring and hazel and briar still choke the flat interior. The place keeps its shape like a forgotten room, waiting for someone to push through the thorns and discover what it withheld.

On a N-facing hillslope. A well- preserved circular rath (D c. 35m) defined by a bank and wide shallow external fosse. A number of gaps are present but all appear to be modern. The interior is flat but largely impenetrable due to dense hazel and briar growth.
