Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Tullyloyd, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a circular grass-covered area thirty-five point six metres north-south and thirty-five metres east-west on a knoll along the north-west-facing slope of a broad hill. An earthen bank two point five to four metres wide and a flat-bottomed fosse five to six point two metres across surround the centre, while a two point six metre entrance and causeway mark the north-east edge.

On a knoll on the NW-facing slope of a broad hill. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 35.6m N-S; 35m E-W) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 2.5-4m; int. H 0.2-0.8m; ext. H 1.2m at S to 1.8m at N), and a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 5-6.2m; D 0.2-0.4m) NE-S-W. The entrance (Wth 2.6m) and causeway (Wth 2.6m) are at NE, but there are secondary entrance gaps at SSE (Wth 5m) and NW (Wth 1.6m). Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
