Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Rathnallog, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a gentle east-facing slope as a circular grass and rush-covered area measuring 47.6 metres east-west and 45 metres north-south. An earthen bank and flat-bottomed fosse define the perimeter, while an outer bank extends from southeast to west-southwest. The entrance is at east-southeast, and the fosse has been extended into a pond west-southwest to north-northwest.
On a gentle E-facing slope. Circular grass and rush-covered area (diam. 47.6m E-W; 45m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4-6m; int. H 0.8-1m generally to 1.5m at W; ext. H 1.6-1.7m) and flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 8.3-10m; Wth of base 4.5-5m; D 0.4-0.7m), with an outer bank (Wth 5m; H 0.2m) SE-WSW (max. ext. dim. 68m N-S). The entrance (Wth 3.4m) is at ESE, and the fosse has been extended into a pond WSW-NNW, while a farm road approaches the perimeter at NW.
