What is recorded here

Located on a slight SE to W-facing slope. This is a dished oval, grass and scrub-covered area (dims. 47m WNW-ESE; 33m NNE-SSW) defined by a scarp (H 0.7m at NW to 1.6m at SE), with an external fosse best preserved NE-S-W (Wth of top 4.7 6m; ext. D 0.5m at NW to 1m at SE). There is no visible entrance. It is listed as a possible ringwork (Barry 1987, Fig. 14, 52). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
