At the crest of the S-facing slope of a low WNW-ESE ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 57.2m E-W; c. 55m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.6-5.1m; int. H 0.2-0.7m; ext. H 0.8-1.3m) WSW-N-ESE which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.2m) S of an overlying E-W field bank and ditch. There is a rounded fosse (Wth of top 6m; Wth of base 1.6m; D 0.25m) ENE-ESE and a fosse (Wth of top 8m; Wth of base 2.6m; D 1m) and outer bank (Wth 3.6m; H 0.15m) WSW-NNW.
