Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Lisdaulan, County Roscommon, Ireland. The site appears on 1837 and 1915 Ordnance Survey maps as a circular embanked enclosure about 50 metres across on a gentle southeast-facing slope. A short northwestern section preserves a 7.2-metre-wide bank rising 1 metre externally and an outer fosse 5.2 metres wide at the top.
Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 50m) on the 1837 and 1915 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a gentle SE-facing slope. A short section of bank (Wth 7.2m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1m) and outer fosse (Wth of top 5.2m; Wth of base 3m; ext. D 0.3m) survive at NW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
