Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Lecarrow (roscommon By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies an oval grass-covered area on a gentle NE-facing slope, measuring 37 metres north-south and 30 metres east-west. An earthen bank and hedge define the SE and W sides, while a shallow outer fosse marks the NW edge. No visible entrance remains.
On a gentle NE-facing slope. Oval grass-covered area (dims 37m N-S; 30m E-W) defined by an earthen bank and hedge (Wth 2.6-2.8m; int. H 0.4-0.6m; ext. H 0.5-0.8m) SE-W, which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.6m) hedged as a field boundary elsewhere, and with an outer fosse (Wth of top 3m; Wth of base 1.3m; D 0.2m) at NW. There is no visible entrance.
