Just off the crest of the gentle NW-facing slope of a drumlin, c. 180m from the SE corner of triangular Lough Elia (dims c. 500m N-S; c. 470m E-W at S). Circular overgrown area (diam. 32m E-W; 29m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.2m; int. H 0.7-0.9m; ext. H 1.5m) and an outer fosse (Wth of top 4.6-5.2m; Wth of base 2.6-2.9m; D 0.6-0.8m). There is no visible entrance.
