Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Knockroe (boyle By., Killummod Ed), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a level landscape where a small west-east stream curves around the monument fifty to one hundred metres distant. The subcircular grass-covered area measures thirty-three metres north-south and twenty-eight point four metres east-west, bounded by a gapped earthen bank and an outer fosse. No recognizable original entrance remains visible.
On a level landscape with a small W-E stream or drain curving around the monument W-S-E c. 50-100m distant. This is a subcircular grass-covered area (dims 33m N-S; 28.4m E-W) defined by a gapped earthen bank (Wth 2.3m at E to 4.6m at S; int. H 0.3-0.55m; ext. H 1.1m at E to 1.4m at S) NW-E-SW reduced to a scarp (H 1.6m) elsewhere, and an outer fosse (Wth 2.5-3m; D 0.2-0.5m) SE-W-NNE. There is no recognizable original entrance.
