Knockbrack holds two conjoined embanked enclosures, one measuring twenty-five by twenty-two metres, yet neither shows the ditch or entrance that ordinary sense expects. Later field banks cut across its western and northern edges, clipping the original form and complicating any attempt to read the full plan. A nearby ringfort suggests a shared early medieval settlement, but the true purpose of this bounded, entrance-less platform remains unproven.

Marked as two conjoined embanked enclosures on the 1835 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and situated on an undulating landscape. There is no indication of the W feature but the E feature is the remains of a rath (LE001-004----). Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 11 December, 2015
