Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Killiaghan AND Gort, County Roscommon, Ireland. It appeared as a D-shaped embanked enclosure on the 1837 Ordnance Survey map, sitting on a rise in a low-lying landscape. St John's Roman Catholic church now occupies the location after its construction in the early 1840s.

Marked as a D-shaped embanked enclosure (ext. dims c. 40m NW-SE; c. 35m NE-SW) truncated at SW by a field boundary on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a rise in a low-lying landscape. The location is now occupied by St John's Roman Catholic church, which was built in the early 1840s (Beirne 2000, 279). Archaeological testing (04E0305) c. 60m to SE failed to produce related archaeological material (Read 2007). Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
