On a gentle S-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims. 41.6m NW-SE; 37.2m NE-SW) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at NW: Wth 3.7m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.5m; generally: Wth 4-5.65m; int. H 0.7-0.9m; ext. H 1-1.4m) separated by a rounded fosse (Wth of top 5.4-6.4m; Wth of base 2.8-4.2m; D 0.3-1m) from an outer bank (Wth 2.3-4m; ext. H 0.2-0.4m), both of which do not survive SE-SW. There are gaps in the inner bank at E, S, NNW and NNE, but the original entrance cannot be recognised (max. ext. diam. 60m NW-SE; 58m NE-SW).
