Embanked enclosure is an enclosure in Gortaganny (frenchpark By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies low-lying ground near the east shore of Errit Lough and presents as a rectangular grass and reed-covered area. An overgrown earthen bank rises along the west side, while shallow scarps mark the remaining edges and faint traces of a fosse appear toward the east. The site may have been a rath, although no visible entrance remains.

Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 35m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and as a a rectangular feature (dims c. 30m ENE-WSW; c. 20m NNW-SSE) on the 1914 ed. Situated on low-lying ground c. 30m from the E shore of Errit Lough. This is a rectangular grass and reed-covered area (dims 37.5m E-W; 22m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 2.3m; int. H 1.3m; ext. H 0.5m) at W and scarps (H 0.2-0.5m) on the other sides, with traces of a fosse (Wth of top 6.8m; Wth of base 3m; ext. D 0.1m) ESE-S.
