On the crest of a low E-W ridge. D-shaped raised grass and scrub-covered area (dims 36m N-S; 32m E-W) defined by a scarp at S (H 0.9m) and N (H 2m) and field banks at E (Wth 2.5m; int. H 1m; ext. H 1.4m) and W (Wth 2.9m; int. H 1.3m; ext. H 1.8m), both with internal drains. Man-made underground passage (RO019-007004-) is at the W edge, and children's burial ground (RO019-007001-) occupies the interior. There is no visible entrance or fosse.
