At the crest of the S-facing slope of a NW-SE ridge. Circular grass-covered platform (diam. of top 11.7m NE-SW; diam. of base 17m NE-SW; H 0.55-0.65m) separated by a fosse (Wth of top 8.3-8.8m; Wth of base 3.5-5.5m; D 0.45m at NE to 1.55m at SW) from an outer bank (at NE: Wth 4.2m; ext. H 0.75m; at SW: Wth 8.5m; ext. H 1.75m). There is no identifiable entrance, but spoil has been added inside the bank NE-SSE and W-N (max. ext. diam. 38.6m NE-SW).

Embanked enclosure; date uncertain but likely prehistoric. Its significance lies in its structural complexity, suggesting ritual or defensive use in an otherwise unrecorded local tradition.
