What is recorded here

Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Glebe (athlone North By., Scregg Ed), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a gentle south-west-facing slope as a circular grass-covered area measuring thirty-one point six metres north-east to south-west and twenty-nine point eight metres north-west to south-east. An earthen bank four point five to six point four metres wide surrounds the centre, while slight traces of a fosse appear at the south-east edge. Another rath lies one hundred and five metres to the south-east.

On a gentle SW-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 31.6m NE-SW; 29.8m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.5-6.4m; int. H 0.1-0.35m; ext. H 0.3-0.35m) with slight traces of a fosse (at SE: Wth of top 6m; Wth of base 1.5m; ext. D 0.25m). There is no identifiable original entrance. Rath (RO042-043----) is c. 105m to the SE.
