Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 45m) on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated in pasture on a gentle S-facing slope. Slightly raised and dished, subcircular area (dims. 32m N-S; 28m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 0.1-0.7m), with a wide fosse (Wth 17m; D 0.5m) N-E. The entrance may have been at ESE.
