What is recorded here
On a gentle SSW-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 33.4m WNW-ESE; 30m NNE-SSW) defined by an earthen bank (at ESE: Wth 2.2m; int. H 0.45m; ext. H 0.6m), with intermittently visible facing stones N-SSE. The inner face of this bank has been exposed by quarrying, but elsewhere the perimeter is defined by a scarp (H 0.7m). There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance.
