Located on a gentle NE-facing slope. This was known as Lios Geineáin, giving its name to the parish of Lisgenan (Power 1905, 125). It is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 37m E-W; 36.6m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3-4m; int. H 1.7-1.8m; ext. H 2-2.4m) with an outer fosse (Wth of top 4.9-6.9m; Wth of base 2-3.4m; D 0.2-0.6m). The stone-lined entrance (Wth 1.9m) is at ENE. Power, Rev. P.
