What is recorded here
Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or stone ringfort in Cuilrevagh, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a D-shaped rock outcrop shelf on a west-facing slope, measuring 25.5 metres east-west and 24.1 metres north-south. A grass-covered stone spread 2.7 to 3.2 metres wide defines the perimeter from southeast through west to north-northeast, though a farm track truncates the eastern edge. Facing stones remain visible at the northwest, and a narrow entrance at the south-southeast may be modern.
