What is recorded here
Marked as a circular feature with some trees (diam. c. 45m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a gentle E-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 40m N-S; 36m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 0.8m; H 1.1m) at N (C 12m) and a slight scarp (H 0.2-0.3m) elsewhere.
