On the gentle E-facing slope at the SE end of a NW-SE ridge. Described in 1995 as a circular grass-covered area (diam. 47m E-W; 43.7m N-S) defined by an overgrown and poached earthen bank (Wth 3.1-3.8m; int. H 0.9-1.1m; ext. H 0.3m at S to 1.9m at N) ESE-S and SSW-W-NNE, which was incorporated into a field bank WSW-N but reduced to a scarp (H 0.2m) NNE-S. There was no visible fosse or entrance. Later, sections of the bank were removed S-SW (L 18m) and N-NE (L 12).
