Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Cartron (hartland),scrabbagh, County Roscommon, Ireland. On the gentle SW-facing slope of a low hill, a subcircular overgrown area measures 31m east-west and 26m north-south, bounded by an earthen bank that is 3.2m wide at the east with internal and external heights of 0.8m and 0.9m. The bank runs northeast to southwest, merging into a field boundary with Scrabbagh that is 1.4m wide and stands 1.1m internally and 1.3m externally. No fosse or entrance appears, while Rath lies about 150m to the east.
On the gentle SW-facing slope of a low hill. Subcircular overgrown area (dims 31m E-W; 26m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (at E: Wth 3.2m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 0.9m) NE-S-WSW, which is incorporated into a field bank and townland boundary (Wth 1.4m; int. H 1.1m; ext. H 1.3m) with Scrabbagh elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or entrance. Rath (RO017-115001-) is c. 150m to the E.
