Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Carrowkeel (athlone North By., Lackan Ed),clooneen (athlone North By., Lackan Ed), County Roscommon, Ireland. The circular embanked enclosure has an external diameter of about 40m and incorporates the townland boundary with Carrowkeel N-E. It sits on a level area in a gently undulating landscape but is not visible at ground level in reclaimed pasture. Two other raths lie about 120m to the NNE and 30m to the SE.
Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 40m) incorporating the townland boundary with Carrowkeel N-E on the 1837 and 1915 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a level area in a gently undulating landscape. It is not visible at ground level in reclaimed pasture. Raths (RO045-071----; RO045-073----) are c. 120m to the NNE and 30m to the SE respectively.
