On a low E-W ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 35m WNW-ESE; 34m NNE-SSW) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4.2-6.8m; int. H 0.4-0.7m; ext. H 1.7-2.5m) NE-S-SW and NW-N, but reduced to a scarp (H 2m) elsewhere. It is surrounded by a fosse (Wth of top 6.2-7.8m; Wth of base 2.5-3m; D 0.2-0.5m) SSW-N-E (max. ext. dim. 50m N-S), and the entrance (Wth 3.7m) is at SE, the lowest point of the interior.
