Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Caltragh (athlone North By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies the crest of a slight SSE-facing slope as a circular grass-covered area measuring 38m NW-SE and 36.5m NE-SW. An earthen bank 3.7-5.8m wide and 0.8m to 1.65m high defines the perimeter with some bushes, while no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance remains. Two other raths stand nearby, one 120m SSW and the other 140m S.
At the crest of a slight SSE-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 38m NW-SE; 36.5m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.7-5.8m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 1.15-1.65m) with some bushes. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. The rath (RO045-072----) is c. 120m to the SSW and rath (RO045-073----) is c. 140m to the S.
