What is recorded here

Marked as a circular embanked enclosure on the 1839 (ext. diam. c. 50-55m) and 1924 (ext. diam. c. 40-45m) eds of the OS 6 inch map, and situated on a broad but low N-S ridge. It is not visible at ground level in a harvested cereal crop. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload/revision: 5 November, 2012
