Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Brackloon (castlereagh By., Baslick Ed),tully (castlereagh By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. A field bank and drain cut through the site, dividing the overgrown interior from the pasture section. The complete band of rushes still marks the fosse, while the earthen bank and outer scar define the circular shape on the south-facing slope.

On a shelf on a S-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 23m NNE-SSW) defined by an earthen bank (at NE: Wth 6.2m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1m) and flat-bottomed fosse (at NE: Wth of top 9m; Wth of base 3m; D 0.5m at NNE) NW-E-SE and a scarp (H 0.4m) SW of a NW-SE field bank and drain which bisects the monument in Brackloon townland. The fosse is traceable as a complete band of rushes (Wth 6.4m), and an outer bank as a scar SE-W-NW. The entrance (Wth 1.8m) is at NE, and the interior is overgrown NE of the field bank and townland boundary but in pature SW of it. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
