Situated on a bluff overlooking a N-S stream that is immediately to the W and c. 10m lower. This is a raised subcircular or D-shaped grass and scrub-covered area (dims of top 22m N-S; 18m E- W; dims of base 31m N-S; 24m E-W) with the straight side at W, which is defined by an earthen bank (int. H 0.2 0.5m) and hedge at E, on the uphill side, and by scarps (H 2.1-2.4m) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or entrance.
