What is recorded here

Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Ardlagheen More OR Highlake, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a gentle NW-facing slope as a D-shaped area measuring 26.8m north-south and about 20m east-west. An earth and stone bank defines the perimeter, surviving from NNW through E to SSW while the rest was quarried back. A rounded fosse runs alongside the bank on the NNW-N side, though it becomes re-cut or separated by a berm elsewhere.
