Eday, Linkertaing

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Eday, Linkertaing as Chambered Cairn (neolithic). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Neolithic chambered cairn; dates to the earlier part of the Neolithic period in Orkney, around 3500–2500 BCE. It represents a significant type of funerary and ceremonial structure associated with early farming communities in northern Scotland.
