Eday, Doomy

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Eday, Doomy as Cairn (later Prehistoric), Hut Circle (prehistoric)(possible), Marker Cairn (post Medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

A Neolithic cairn, likely dating to the later prehistoric period, associated with early settlement features; its significance lies in contributing to the understanding of prehistoric land use in Orkney.
