Inspired more than a generation This plaque is to commemorate the Viking Venture Scout Unit 1968-2004
Edale Moor rises to approximately 550 meters above sea level and is part of the High Peak area in the Derbyshire Peak District. It is a moorland plateau with a landscape shaped by glacial activity and is known for its heather-covered expanses and historical significance in local hiking and scouting traditions.
