In the centre of Tuam town (GA029-199----). According to Ó Murchú (1970, 7), 'the first settlers in Tuam made their dwelling or “dún” where the Assembly Hall of the Presentation Sisters' Primary School now stands'. No visible surface trace survives. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
