In pasture, above N-facing slope down to stream bed. Roughly rectangular area (43m N-S; 34.1m E-W) defined by low, grass-covered, earthen bank (max: int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.1m). Gap (Wth 2.4) at SW corner; with S bank extending W beyond site for a short distance and W bank turning into interior for a short distance. Second narrow gap at SE corner; with S bank extending E beyond enclosure for a short distance. Interior slopes gently down to N; no internal features noted. To SE of enclosure is small oval area (16m N-S; 11.3m E-W) enclosed by low bank; scatter of stones cover site. To N of enclosure on opposite side of levelled field boundary, are two parallel banks (H 0.2m) 6.8m apart extending down-hill, stopping short of E-W drain, but visible again closer to stream; shallow fosse (D 0.2m) on E side of E bank. According to local information, site of church.
