In reclaimed pasture, 75m S of townland boundary with Raheennamadra, barrows (LI049-241001/002- and LI049-021----) lie 50m to the NW and 11m to the SE respectively. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified as potential site immediately E of a linear cropmark running NE-SW on the Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000; 2578, Site 254) taken 03/11/1984. No surface remains visible on Digital Globe orthoimage. Faint trace of circular-shaped cropmark visible on Google Earth orthoimage date 18/11/2018.
