Earthwork in Kilmore (castlereagh By.) is an earthwork in Kilmore (castlereagh By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. The 1929 Ordnance Survey map marked a circular feature about twenty metres across on a northwest-southeast ridge. Local sources called it the Sheeaun and described a green mound, but quarrying removed the visible remains. Rath lies about ninety metres to the northeast.
Marked on the 1929 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a circular feature (diam. c. 20m), and situated on a NW-SE ridge. It was known locally as the Sheeaun, and described as a green mound (OS Name Books). It is not visible in an area of quarries. Rath (RO026-001----) is c. 90m to the NE. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
