Earthwork in Carrowmanagh (dunmore By.)

On the summit of a low hill in grassland. Marked on 3rd ed. of OS 6-inch map (1930) as a small circular mound (D c. 20m). Described by Neary (1914, 118, no. 53) as a 'circular, earthen fort reduced by tillage operations to a mere mound'. Apart from an apparently natural rise, no visible surface trace survives.
