What is recorded here

Ballycrinnigan held a forty-five-metre fort on the 1874 map, but human eyes see only flat grass now. The earthwork vanished into the ground, perhaps buried by time or erased by ploughs, leaving behind a ghost shape that charts still believe. What remains is a absent circle, large enough to walk inside and small enough to forget.
