Earthwork

What is recorded here

Yes. Druim Ing, an earthwork in Ballycorus and Shankill, is recorded by Morris in 1935 but has never been precisely located. It may be a buried fort, a forgotten boundary, or a name carried from one field into another. What is certain is that the land still holds the shape of a place people once knew.
Morris (1935, 310) makes a vague reference to a fort known as Druim Ing in the Ballycorus /Shankill area. This earthwork has not been precisely located. Compiled by: Geraldine Stout and Padraig Clancy. Revised upload on: 21 April 2018.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
