Situated just below the summit of a hill on an E-facing slope in an upland area with extensive views and a nearby church (TN029-079) to the SW. Depicted on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure intersected at S by a road on an E-W axis. Not visible at ground level (Stout 1984, 35).
