Manslaughter and loss of a leg, or maybe only a bad fall and a forgotten name. Duns Castle, 2 Pavilion Lodge stands as an 18th Century Gate Lodge built 1774-1777 in Scottish Borders. The main castle is gone or hidden, but this small lodge survived to mark the entrance. That is often how memory works: the big thing disappears, the little thing refuses.
