Dunnottar Castle, Smithy is part of the historic Dunnottar Castle complex in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, which was originally built by the See of St Andrews in the 12th century and later held by the Keith family. The site is important as a key stronghold in Scottish history, famously resisting English forces during the Wars of Scottish Independence and housing the Honours of Scotland.
