Dun Malbin, also known as Black Hill, rises to approximately 310 metres and is part of the Southern Uplands of Scotland, composed mainly of Silurian greywacke and volcanic rocks. It holds historical significance as a landmark in the Old Kilpatrick area and may have been a site of ancient settlement or defensive use.
