What is recorded here
Drumadoon Point is a headland composed primarily of Devonian sandstone, formed around 400 million years ago through the deposition and cementation of sediment in ancient river and delta systems. It is notable for its resistant rock formations that have withstood coastal erosion, contributing to the distinctive landscape of North Ayrshire's coastline.
