What is recorded here
Detached three-bay two-storey former house, built c.1840, now in use as a garda station. Set within a garden. Hipped tiled roof with rendered chimneystacks and cast-iron rainwater goods. Roughcast rendered walls with plinth course. Timber sash windows with exposed sash boxes and concrete hoods. Replacement timber door and fanlight. Stone outbuilding to north. Site bounded by rendered wall with piers and wrought-iron gates to street. Random stone wall to rear.
Set back from the street, this garda station is a well-proportioned structure, which contributes to the character of Dromahair.
